Broward Deputy Arrested For Sex With An Under-aged Girl

According to the Miami Herald: On Thursday, Leon Campbell, a 36-year-old Broward sheriff’s deputy was arrested for having sex with a minor under the age of 17. His official charges are listed as:
  • 4 felony counts of lewd or lascivious battery
  • 1 count of sexual activity with a minor
He supposedly had sex with the victim multiple times over the course of 2 years. One time, their sexual activities supposedly went so far as to involve a whip and a leash. The arrest affidavit is even quoted as saying:

“Campbell tied her up, spanked her with a whip and put a collar around her neck with a leash attached.”

According to police documents, the victim was the niece of one of Campbell’s friends. Campbell eventually turned himself in after Lauderhill police obtained a search warrant and searched his home. They found multiple sex toys and adult items, including the whip and leash mentioned earlier, as well as traces of the victim’s DNA.
