February 8, an undercover officer posed as a 14-year old girl on the social media networking app MeetMe began conversating with Melvin. Court records show that four photos were exchanged, two from the undercover officer, and two from Zachary, with one being sexually explicit. Consequently, The FDLA asked law enforcement in Dothan to help locate Melvin. Zackary’s arrest was made after an undercover police officer posed as a 15-year-old girl, contacted Melvin on social media, in which he agreed to meet her for sexual acts.
