Following an investigation in February 2016, Edwards was later placed on administrative leave after a complaint from a student, claiming she was asked to stay after class because of a comment she had made. Krininger then engaged the student with sexual conversation and asked her to take videos of her touching herself, to be sent via Dropbox for later access. A subpoena later revealed that Charles had accessed the victim’s phone.
