According to the Miami Herald and other news sources: A Jackson Memorial respiratory therapist was arrested after he was found to be repeatedly attempting access of child pornography at the hospital. Mr. Thomas Mahon, a 61-year-old therapist, was charged with 3 felony counts of attempting to transmit and view child pornography shortly after the arrest. The police stated that he tried to access the illicit material on another employees account (the other employee had left his account logged in by mistake). But, it was the hospital’s internal security system that caught Mahon attempting to transmit the material. After his arrest, Mahon voluntarily gave up both his licence for respiratory therapy and registered nurse.
